7:00pm - 8:00pm | Anne Vinsel - Adobe After Effects for Avid Editors

Freelance editor and motion graphics artist, Anne T. Vinsel, will demonstrate After Effects tips and tricks that every Avid editor should know. New Version 7 features include a video noise reduction tool, lens blur, lens shape, and lens transition filters, and a new OpenGL particle engine. In addition, Boris FX will showcase new Apple Final Cut Pro to Avid Media Composer 5 effects workflow using AAF Transfer.

Paul Ezzy is an independent filmmaker and videographer. Trained formally as a filmmaker, editor, and actor at NYFA and the Rockport Photographic Workshops, Paul also has degrees in Education, Chemistry, and Psychology. Social Networking:

We have FaceBook and LinkedIn pages for the BAVUG. The BAVUG uses these outlets to keep members updated on other events going on in the area as well as offer a place to discuss trends, trouble-shoot, tips/tricks, buy/sell/trade equipment and pretty much anything else you want. If you're not a member of our FaceBook or LinkedIn group, then you may be missing out! If you are a member, make sure you enable notifications/announcements to be sent to your email so you are kept up to date. If you have any questions about these groups email us contactus@bavug.org.

Call for Sponsors and Volunteers:

We are also currently seeking additional sponsors and volunteers to help with the BAVUG. The BAVUGBoard is currently just a few people who volunteer their time and it requires a lot of work to continue to have high quality meetings. If you would be interested in providing sponsorship or helping out the Board at future meetings, send an email to volunteers@bavug.org.
